361 Degrees Adventure Ltd (“361 Degrees”, “we”, “our” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you shop with us or use 361degrees.co.tz, how we use it and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Tanzania’s Personal Data Protection Act, 2022.
1. Information we collect

- Your name, phone number, email address and delivery address when you place an order
- Messages and details you send us on WhatsApp, by phone, by email or on social media
- Details of the products you buy and how you paid
We do not offer customer accounts, so we do not ask you to create a username or password.

- Technical information such as your device, browser, IP address and the pages you visit
- Information from cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy
Payment information
Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are handled by our secure payment provider. We never see or store your full card number. For mobile money payments, we receive the payment confirmation from your provider.
2. How we use your information
- To process, deliver and support your orders, including contacting you about them
- To answer your questions and give you product advice
- To keep records we are required to keep by law, such as sales and tax records
- To protect our customers and our business against fraud and misuse
- To understand how our website is used and improve it
- To send you news and offers, if you have agreed to receive them — you can opt out at any time
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where needed to serve you:
- Delivery partners — our riders, EMS and bus parcel services — to deliver your order
- Payment providers to process your payment
- Website, analytics and advertising services, such as Google, that help us run and improve our website and show relevant adverts
- Authorities where the law requires it, or to protect our rights and prevent fraud
Some of these providers may store information outside Tanzania. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected.
4. How long we keep it
We keep order information for as long as needed to fulfil your order, support you afterwards and meet our legal and tax obligations. We then delete or anonymise it.
5. How we protect it
Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to customer information is limited to staff who need it. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information against loss and unauthorised access.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
- stop sending you marketing messages

Our website is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
