About this product

One table, four chairs, one bag. The table is a roll-top with a wood-grain finish on an aluminium alloy frame, and the four chairs are 600D Oxford seats on folding aluminium frames with backrests – proper chairs, not stools. Everything packs into the single duffel that comes with it.

The table opens to 95 x 55 cm at 50 cm high and rolls down to 52 x 24 x 8 cm. Each chair folds to 10 x 10 x 58 cm, so the four of them take up about as much room as a pair of walking poles.

The materials are chosen for outdoors rather than for a showroom: aluminium alloy does not rust, and 600D Oxford is UV resistant and waterproof, so an afternoon of sun or a rain shower does not ruin it. The roll-top drains rather than pooling.

This is the set to buy if you want somewhere for four people to actually sit and eat and you would rather make one trip from the car. It suits campsites, fishing, beach days, sports sidelines and the back garden equally.

Good to know

Do the chairs have backrests?

Yes. They are proper folding chairs with a fabric seat and back, not backless stools, so they are comfortable for a full meal.

Does everything really fit in the one bag?

Yes. The table rolls to 52 x 24 x 8 cm and each chair folds to a 10 cm tube, so the table and all four chairs go into the supplied duffel.

How tall is the table?

50 cm. The chairs have a 32 cm seat height, so the set is matched - a low camp height rather than a dining-room height.

Will it hold up in the rain?

Yes. The frames are aluminium alloy, which does not rust, and the fabric is 600D Oxford, which is waterproof and UV resistant. Let it dry before packing it away.

Can I buy the table or the chairs separately?

How much weight will the chairs take?

They are sized for adults at normal weight. As with any light folding camp chair, sit down rather than dropping into it, and keep all four feet on firm ground.
