A 5 ft banqueting table built for constant use. The top is a single piece of blow-moulded HDPE – waterproof, scratch resistant and impact resistant – on a powder-coated steel frame with arch legs.
The arch leg design is the detail worth knowing about. The legs curve inward at the ends instead of running straight down at the corners, which leaves both ends of the table clear. That means you can seat someone at each end without them straddling a leg, and you can push two tables together without the frames fighting each other.
The frame joints lock when the legs are open, so there is no sag under load, and rubber feet stop it sliding on tiles or polished concrete. Rated to 300 lb (136 kg).
The legs fold flat under the top for storage, so the table stores as a 152 cm slab about 7 cm thick and stacks easily against a wall or in a store room. There are carry handles built into the edge. At 9.98 kg one person can move it, though two is easier over any distance.
