This is the same idea as a plain chest bag with two additions worth paying for. The zip carries a small combination lock, so the bag cannot be opened by a hand reaching across you in a crowd or on a packed daladala. Be clear-eyed about the limit: it raises the effort, it does not make the bag theft-proof, and nothing that fits in it should be irreplaceable.
The USB socket on the outside is wired to a short cable inside. You put your own power bank in the bag, plug it into the internal end, and then charge your phone from the outside socket without unzipping anything. There is no battery in the bag. This is the single most misunderstood feature on products like this, so we would rather say it twice than have you open the box expecting a charger.
The fabric is high-density nylon, which is water-resistant and noticeably stiffer than the standard nylon on the plain chest bag. It holds its shape when empty instead of collapsing, which is why the lock and the USB port work properly.
At 33 x 18 x 10 cm it takes a phone, a wallet, a power bank, a passport and a small tablet. It is not a laptop bag.
