A double-layer backpacking tent on 7001 aluminium poles, with a vestibule at each end and an embossed UPF 50+ fly. Under two and a half kilos.
The P-Series is the tent for someone who has outgrown a cheap dome but is not ready to spend on an ultralight shelter. It is a proper double-layer design: a breathable inner with B3 mesh panels, and a separate 210T polyester fly over it. That gap between the two layers is what stops condensation dripping on you at four in the morning, and it is the thing budget single-skin tents get wrong.
The poles are 7001 aluminium, not fiberglass. Aluminium flexes and springs back where fiberglass splinters, and after a season of being packed wet and jammed into a boot that difference shows. The fabric is a plain embossed 210T polyester rated PU 2000 mm, and Naturehike rates it UPF 50+ against ultraviolet, which matters more at this latitude than the rain rating does.
There is a vestibule at both ends rather than one, so boots and packs go outside the sleeping area at either door. The floor is 150D Oxford, heavier than the walls because that is the surface taking the abuse.
Pitched it is 200 x (45+130+40) x 100 cm. Packed it is 16 cm diameter x 49 cm and weighs 2.1 kg (4.6 lbs), which splits comfortably between two people on a trail.
