Naturehike sells this in China as the Shan He, and in English as the Massif. What sets it apart from every other tent on this page is the port in the roof: a heat-resistant stove jack that lets you run a flue from a wood-burning camp stove out through the fabric. That turns the living half into a space you can dry boots in, cook in and sit in while it is cold and wet outside, which is why hot tents have a following among people who camp at altitude or in the highlands out of season.
The layout is one bedroom and one living room. The inner tent, 210 x 135 cm, hangs at one end for sleeping; the rest of the 360 cm shell is open floor for the stove, packs and chairs. A snow skirt runs round the base to seal the gap between fabric and ground against draught, spindrift and insects.
For a tent with a stove port it is remarkably light: 3.3 kg minimum, 4.4 kg packed, on 7001 aluminium poles with a 30D silicone-coated ripstop nylon fly. That is closer to a backpacking tent than the canvas hot tents it competes with, and it is the reason people carry it rather than drive it.
Even without a stove it works as a spacious, well-vented two-person four-season tent with far more covered living space than a conventional dome.

Using a stove safely
The stove jack makes stove use possible. It does not make it risk-free, and the risks are serious enough to state plainly.
- Carbon monoxide kills silently. A wood stove burning in an enclosed tent produces it. Always run a battery carbon monoxide alarm inside the tent, keep a vent open at all times, and never seal the tent up around a burning stove.
- Never sleep with the stove burning. Let it burn down before you sleep. Every year people die doing otherwise.
- Use a flue with a spark arrestor, and keep the flue clear of the fabric where it passes the jack.
- Keep a fire extinguisher or water to hand, and keep the stove on a stable, level, non-flammable base.
- The stove, flue and CO alarm are not supplied with the tent.
