About this product

The standard folding camp chair, in green, with a cup holder in the armrest and its own carry bag. It is the chair you buy four of and keep in the boot: light enough to carry in one hand, quick to open, and cheap enough not to worry about at the beach.

The seat and back are one piece of polyester over a steel quad frame, with mesh panelling for airflow, and it folds into a slim bundle in the included shoulder bag.

How do I keep it going in coastal air?

Rinse salt and sand off the frame with fresh water, wipe the fabric, and let it dry fully open before folding. Salt left in the joints is what seizes a cheap frame.

Will it sink into sand?

The feet are standard tube ends, so on soft dry sand it will settle. On firm wet sand and grass it is fine. For soft sand, a chair with wide all-terrain feet is a better choice.

Can I leave it in the car?

Yes, folded in its bag. Keep it out of direct sun through a windscreen for weeks on end, which cooks the fabric.
