This one reclines and supports the backs of your knees, which is the difference between a seat you use for twenty minutes and one you stay in all afternoon. The backrest and the footrest each adjust, so you can sit forward to eat and lie back afterwards without having to get up and reset anything.
The frame is aluminium, which keeps the weight down and does not rust the way steel does in coastal air. Elastic cord through the frame lets the seat flex with you instead of holding you rigid, and the padded sections take the pressure off the frame edges where it would otherwise be felt.
At roughly 4.4-5.5 lbs (2-2.5 kg) it folds down small enough to carry in one hand and to stow in a boot alongside the cooler, the tent and everything else. It carries up to 330 lbs (150 kg).
