About this product
Anyone who fishes here for more than a season ends up in long sleeves. It sounds like the wrong choice in equatorial heat and it is not: covered skin does not burn, and a light quick-dry sleeve that has picked up sweat or spray cools you as it evaporates. A cotton t-shirt does the opposite – it soaks, clings, stops evaporating and you burn through it anyway.
The fabric here is nano polyester, chosen to wick moisture away from the skin and dry fast. It carries built-in UV protection, which matters far more than most people allow for on the water – you get the sun directly and again off the surface, and a boat deck offers no shade at all.
The printing is anti-friction, which is a real detail rather than a marketing one. A heavy printed panel on the chest or shoulder is exactly where a rod butt or a pack strap sits, and a coarse print chafes over a long day.
The cut is deliberately loose enough to cast in without pulling across the shoulders, which is the other thing that separates a fishing shirt from an ordinary one.
This is the red version.
