About this product
Portable Projector – in stock at 361 Degrees Adventure in Tanzania.
A native 1080p panel, which is what separates this from the cheap ones.
Almost every projector at this size advertises 1080p. Most of them mean they will accept a 1080p signal and then squeeze it onto a 720p panel. This one has the 1920 x 1080 panel, and that is what you are paying for.
There is a consequence worth understanding, because it looks like a flaw on a spec sheet. A 1080p panel has smaller pixels than a 720p panel of the same size, so it blocks more of the light passing through it. Run the same LED behind both and the 1080p unit reads dimmer. That is why this projector is rated 240 ANSI while cheaper 720p units claim more. You are trading a little brightness for a genuinely sharper picture.
It runs Android with 32GB of storage, connects over dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and sits on a telescopic pole that raises the lens to the height of the screen instead of leaving you propping it on books.
Be realistic about the light. At 240 ANSI this needs a dark room. Curtains closed, lights off, and a screen between 60 and 80 inches. It is a projector for evenings and dark rooms, not for a bright lounge in the afternoon.

Streaming: read this first. Like nearly all Android projectors in this class, this one carries Widevine L3 rather than L1, which means Netflix and Prime Video will play but only at standard definition, whatever your subscription. YouTube is fine. If Netflix at full quality matters to you, plug a streaming stick into the HDMI port and use that instead. We can supply one.
