Highlights

The full kit, not the travel version

Twenty-four pieces covers hands, feet and everything in between - the pedicure tools a seven-piece travel set leaves out. Organised in a case so it works as the household grooming kit rather than living in a drawer as a jumble.

24 pieces

Manicure and pedicure, including the foot tools smaller sets omit.

Stainless steel

Takes an edge, resists rust, cleans properly between uses.

Organised case

Every tool held in its own loop. You can see what is missing.

Home or travel

Complete enough to be the household set, compact enough to pack.

Product description

About this product

This is the complete kit rather than the travel subset. The difference is mostly feet: pedicure tools, heel files and the larger implements that a seven-piece set leaves out, which are the ones you actually need after a week of walking in sandals.
Everything is stainless steel and held in place in a zip case, each tool in its own loop. That matters more than it sounds – a set where every tool has a home is a set where you notice one is missing, rather than discovering it three months later.
It works as the household grooming kit and packs for travel, which is the argument for buying the full set once rather than a small one now and the rest later.
Two things worth taking seriously. Dry the tools after use and keep the case dry – coastal humidity here will rust stainless steel that has been put away wet. And tools that can break skin, particularly cuticle nippers, should not be casually shared between people; if they are, wipe them with surgical spirit between users.

Buying a Travel Manicure Set in Tanzania

361 Degrees Adventure keeps the travel manicure set at our showroom in Upanga, Dar es Salaam, with delivery countrywide across Tanzania. Come and handle it before you buy, or order online and collect.

Every travel manicure set is checked in store before it leaves us, and our staff use the same kit in the field, so you get an honest answer on fit and sizing rather than a sales pitch.

Not sure which travel manicure set suits you? Call or message the showroom and we will talk you through the options that are actually in stock in Dar es Salaam.

Questions

Good to know

Do you deliver in Dar es Salaam?

Yes. We deliver across Dar es Salaam and ship countrywide to Arusha, Mwanza, Dodoma, Mbeya, Zanzibar and the rest of Tanzania.

Can I take these in hand luggage?

Put the set in checked baggage. Nail clippers are usually accepted in the cabin but the files, cuticle tools and scissors in a full set are exactly the items screeners take a view on, and the view varies by airport. Checked baggage avoids the conversation entirely.

How do I keep the tools from rusting?

Dry them after every use and keep the case closed and dry. Stainless steel resists rust, it is not immune to it, and coastal humidity in Dar es Salaam will find any tool put away damp. A drop of light oil on the clipper pivot once in a while keeps the action smooth.

Should each person have their own?

Yes. Nail tools that break skin - cuticle nippers especially - can pass infection between people, and that is worth taking seriously rather than sharing a set around a household. If tools are shared, clean them with surgical spirit between users.

Does humidity affect a sewing kit?

Steel needles and pins rust in coastal air, particularly stored in a closed case that was put away damp. Keep the case dry, and if the kit lives in a bag that gets wet, open it out and let it air.

How much is excess baggage out of Dar es Salaam?

It varies by airline and route, but it is always charged per kilogram at the desk and it is always more than you expect - frequently more than the item you are carrying is worth. Weighing at home is the entire point of a luggage scale.

Does the heat here affect them?

A car boot in Dar es Salaam gets far hotter than the air outside, and heat both thins liquids and raises pressure inside a closed bottle. Do not leave decanted toiletries in a parked car, and open one slowly if it has been in one.
