Good to know

Is the water bladder really included?

Yes, it comes with the pack. That is unusual - most hydration packs sell the bladder separately - and it means the pack does its job from the first ride.

How do I clean the bladder?

Rinse it with warm water after every use and dry it fully with the opening propped open. In Dar es Salaam humidity a bladder stored damp will grow mould, which is the one way these fail.

Can I use it for hiking as well as cycling?

Yes. The tube-and-bite-valve system works just as well walking, and 20 litres is a good day-hike capacity.

Will it swing when I stand on the pedals?

Not if the straps are adjusted properly. They are shaped to conform to the body and there is adjustment to pull the load in close - take a minute to set it before your first ride.

How much water does the bladder hold?
