Highlights

Eighty-eight litres you pull, not carry

Two wheels and a full U-shaped opening turn a camp move from three trips into one - and it folds flat for the drive home.

88 litres on wheels

Enough for a family's camping kit, and you pull it rather than carrying it. Two robust wheels do the work across a car park or a camp.

Folds to 35 x 35 x 12 cm

When it is empty it is a flat package, so an 88 litre bag does not live in your house taking up an 88 litre hole.

U-shaped opening

The top opens right back so you see everything at once, instead of excavating from a narrow hole the way a duffel makes you.

20 kg capacity

A real load rating for a soft bag, with tear-resistant polyester and a zipped expansion section when you need more room.

Product description

About this product

Folding Tug Bag – in stock at 361 Degrees Adventure in Dar es Salaam.

The awkward part of camping is not the camping – it is moving eighty kilos of kit from a vehicle to a pitch and back again. This bag is built for that specific job: 88 litres of tear-resistant polyester on two robust wheels, so a camp move is a pull rather than three trips with your arms full.

The opening is what makes it usable. It is U-shaped, so the top folds right back and you can see and reach everything at once. Anyone who has excavated a duffel bag looking for one thing at the bottom will recognise why that matters more than a litre figure. A zipped compartment expands the capacity when a trip needs more room than you planned.

It folds. Empty, it packs down to 35 x 35 x 12 cm – a flat package that goes on a shelf or in a boot corner rather than taking up 88 litres of your house between trips. That is unusual for a wheeled bag and it is the reason this design exists.

The load rating is 20 kg and the bag itself weighs 1,660 g. There is a detachable shoulder strap for the stretches where wheels do not help – a sandy path, steps, or a rough pitch. It comes in army green. It suits family camping, long trips, market runs and moving kit generally.

Buying a Folding Tug Bag in Dar es Salaam

361 Degrees Adventure keeps the folding tug bag at our showroom in Upanga, Dar es Salaam, with delivery countrywide across Tanzania. Come and handle it before you buy, or order online and collect.

Every folding tug bag is checked in store before it leaves us, and our staff use the same kit in the field, so you get an honest answer on fit and sizing rather than a sales pitch.

Not sure which folding tug bag suits you? Call or message the showroom and we will talk you through the options that are actually in stock in Tanzania.

Spare parts and replacements for the folding tug bag are easier to get here than on an overseas order, which matters once the gear is in use.

Questions

Good to know

Will the wheels work on grass and sand?

On firm ground, paving and short grass, yes. On loose sand or a rough pitch, use the detachable shoulder strap for the last stretch - that is exactly why it is included.

How much will it hold?

88 litres and up to 20 kg. That is a family's camping kit, or a long trip's worth of gear for two people.

Does it really fold flat?

Yes, to 35 x 35 x 12 cm empty. That is the point of the design - an 88 litre bag that does not occupy 88 litres of your house between trips.

Why a U-shaped opening rather than a zip along the top?

Because the top folds right back and you see everything at once. Finding one item in a deep duffel with a narrow opening is the frustration this removes.

Is the polyester waterproof?

It is tear resistant and sheds light rain. It is not a dry bag - for a downpour or a wet boat, put anything critical in a dry bag inside.

Can I check it in on a flight?

Yes, as checked baggage. Wheeled soft bags travel well; just keep the load inside airline weight limits, which are usually below the bag's 20 kg capacity.

Is the shoulder strap comfortable at full load?

At 20 kg, only for short stretches - that is a heavy carry for anyone. The strap is for steps, sand and rough pitches rather than for walking distance.

Do you deliver upcountry?

Yes, we ship across Tanzania. Message us with your town and we will confirm cost and timing.
