The NBP100R is the battery pack designed for the NITECORE MH40 Pro searchlight. At 10,000 mAh and 36 Wh it holds the equivalent of two 21700 cells, and it is what gives the MH40 Pro its 62-hour runtime figure.

The USB-C port is built into the pack, so it recharges on its own in under four hours. An indicator flashes red while charging and holds steady red when full.

Does it fit anything other than the MH40 Pro?

It is designed specifically for the MH40 Pro. That light also accepts two 21700 cells as an alternative.

How long does the MH40 Pro run on it?

Up to 62 hours at the lowest level. On maximum you are counting in tens of minutes, as with any searchlight.

Can I charge it from a power bank?

Yes, it takes any USB-C source. A higher-current charger will get it closer to the four-hour figure than a small phone plug will.

Can I fly with it?

At 36 Wh it is under the 100 Wh cabin limit, so it travels in hand luggage only, never in the hold. Confirm with your airline.

How should I store a spare?

Around half charged, somewhere cool, with the terminals covered. Never store one flat, and never loose with keys or coins.
