The HLB1500 is the rechargeable pack used by the NITECORE UT27 headlamp, the HA13 headlamp and the Bubble lantern. It holds 1,500 mAh at 3.9 V, weighs 25 g, and has a USB-C charging port built in, so it charges independently of the lamp.

Good to know

Which lamps does it fit?

The UT27 running headlamp, and Nitecore lists it for the HA13 headlamp and the Bubble lantern as well. It is not a general-purpose battery.

Can I still use AAA batteries in the UT27?

Yes, three of them. That is the get-home option when the pack is flat and there is no power. Output and runtime are lower than on the pack.

How long does it take to charge?

Well under two hours from flat on an ordinary 5V USB source.

How should I store a spare?

Around half charged, somewhere cool, not loose in a bag with metal objects. Do not store it flat.

Can I fly with it?

At under 6 Wh it travels easily in cabin baggage, never in the hold. Keep the contacts covered.

When should I replace it?

When a full charge no longer gets you through the runs it used to. Lithium packs this small age faster than large cells, particularly in heat.
