About this product
The double zip is the whole idea. Pack the cube at its expanded size, where you are not fighting the fabric to get the last shirt in, then run the second zip and the cube collapses to roughly half its depth with the contents held flat.
That second setting is more useful coming home than going out. Clothes that have been worn and stuffed back in never fold as neatly as they did leaving, and an expandable cube absorbs that without forcing you to leave something behind.
Nylon is the right fabric here. A compression cube puts real tension on its seams and zip tape every time it is used, and nylon resists snagging and tearing better than a lighter polyester would.
Two honest notes. Compression reduces volume, never weight – your clothes weigh the same squeezed. And do not store clothes compressed for weeks in this climate: sealing damp fabric with no airflow is how a cube full of shirts starts to smell, and eventually grows mould. Pack dry, unpack on arrival.
