What does the rotating yoke actually give me?

The ability to follow a moving animal without lifting the rifle off the rest. With a fixed yoke you have to reposition the whole stick every time the target moves, which usually costs you the opportunity.

Does the rotation add wobble?

A rotating head has a bearing rather than a solid joint, so it is a little less rigid than a fixed yoke. In exchange you get tracking. For a static shot from a hide, a fixed rest is marginally steadier.

What height does it adjust to?

It covers standing, kneeling and seated positions. The exact minimum and maximum are not stated in the supplier documentation we hold - message us and we will measure it in the Dar es Salaam showroom.

Can I use it with a spotting scope or camera?

It is designed around the V yoke for a firearm fore-end. A scope or camera can rest in the yoke, but if you want a threaded mount, our monopod with a 1/4 inch thread is the better choice.

On firm ground it stands well. On soft sand or loose soil, press the foot in until it beds, and take weight through the stick gradually rather than leaning on it suddenly.
