A throw tent rated PU 5000 mm on both the shell and the floor, which is double what most pop-ups offer.
Throw tents trade weather resistance for speed, and most of them are rated around 2000 mm. This one is not. The 210T polyester shell and the 150D Oxford floor are both PU coated to 5000 mm, with seam-glued construction, which puts it in a different class for the long rains. It is the reason to choose it over a cheaper instant tent.
The frame is 6 mm solid high-strength fiberglass, sewn in, so the tent erects itself when released from the bag. Two doors rather than one means air crosses the tent and nobody climbs over anybody at night.
Pitched it is 240 x 145 x 110 cm, which is two adults comfortably or three at a squeeze. It weighs 2.6 kg and comes with windproof ropes and iron ground nails.
