TC cotton is a polycotton blend, and it behaves differently from the polyester every other tent on this page is made of. It breathes, so moisture passes through the weave instead of condensing on the inside wall. It insulates, so the interior stays cooler through the middle of the day and holds warmth at night. And it is quieter in wind and rain, which matters more than people expect after two nights of polyester drumming.
The cost is weight. At 5.86 kg this is a vehicle tent, not one you carry far. Canvas also needs drying properly, because cotton left damp will mildew where polyester would merely smell.
The floor is 210D Oxford, and the frame is 6.4 mm solid fiberglass rods built for a speed pitch rather than conventional threading. Pitched it is 285 x 210 x 120 cm.
