Putting one on is easier than people make it. Hold it open with both hands inside, thumbs at the front, and roll it on from the forehead backwards, tucking the hair in at the back last. Wet hair goes in far more easily than dry.
Rinse it in fresh water after every swim, turn it inside out to dry, and never leave it screwed up wet in a bag. A light dusting of talc inside before storage stops the silicone sticking to itself.
