The same hooded envelope bag with an electric heating layer sewn in and a USB lead to run it. Plug in a power bank and the bag warms itself, which turns a cold night at altitude into a comfortable one without carrying a heavier bag.
Construction is a 210T polyester pongee shell, 80 gsm washed-cotton lining, hollow-cotton fill and a flannel inner layer against the skin. The colour tells you which way the zip runs: brown opens on the left, blue on the right – useful when you are zipping two bags together or sorting kit in the dark.
