The logic is straightforward. The Mavis 2000 flies closest to feather and lasts longest, and it costs accordingly – roughly two and a half times the 300. The Mavis 250 is the entry grade and is noticeably less consistent. The 300 is the practical middle: good enough flight that nobody argues about it, and durable enough that a club session costs almost nothing per hour.
It uses a natural cork base with a nylon skirt, which is the construction that matters.
