This is a two-player badminton set: a pair of rackets, shuttlecocks and a carry case.
It exists for a specific situation. Nobody in the house plays yet, somebody is curious, and buying separate rackets, a tube of shuttles and a bag means three separate decisions about equipment you cannot yet judge. A set removes all of them for a price that does not matter if the game never takes.
The rackets are beginner equipment – light, forgiving and easy to make contact with, which is the only property that matters at the start. A beginner who keeps missing the shuttle stops playing; a beginner who keeps hitting it plays again tomorrow. Everything else about a racket is irrelevant until then.
