About this product

A mini COB work light that lives on a keyring and does far more than its size suggests. A wide COB panel on the face floods a work area evenly in white or warm light, and there is a red mode for marking a position or keeping your night vision.

Seven modes cycle through white high and low, warm high and low, red steady and red strobe, plus a press-and-hold turbo. It charges over Type-C and has a folding stand on the back with a magnet, so it hangs on a belt, clips to a cap peak, props itself on a bench or sticks to the underside of a bonnet.

Then there is the rest of it. The carabiner is cut as a wrench and a bottle opener, there is a set of screwdriver bits stored in the back, and the end is shaped as a glass breaker. Aluminium alloy body, so it takes being carried loose in a pocket with keys.

This is the light people end up using most, because it is the one they actually have on them.

Good to know

What are the seven modes?

White on high and low, warm white on high and low, red steady and red flashing, plus a press-and-hold turbo. Warm is the comfortable one for close work at night; red preserves your night vision.

Does it really have screwdriver bits?

Yes, stored in the back of the body. With the wrench and bottle opener cut into the carabiner and the glass breaker on the end, it is closer to a small multi-tool that happens to be a very good light.

How bright is it for its size?

Bright enough that most people stop carrying a bigger torch. A COB panel spreads light over a short distance, which is exactly what you want under a dashboard, in a fuse box or inside a pack.

How long does it run?

A few hours on the lower settings and less on turbo. It is designed to be topped up often over Type-C rather than to run all night.

Will the magnet hold it upside down?

Yes, on steel. The folding stand doubles as the magnet mount, so you can stick it under a bonnet and aim the beam.

Is it waterproof?

Treat it as splash and rain resistant rather than waterproof. It will handle wet hands and a shower, not immersion.
