At 18 ft x 10 ft this is a room rather than a tent, and CORE has built it to be used as one. Two room dividers come in the bag, so the floor splits into three separate spaces: parents, children, and gear, or two couples and a store. With 80 in of headroom nobody stoops, and four queen air beds fit.
The lighting runs along the ceiling poles instead of hanging from a loop, which at this size matters more than it does in a small tent: one lantern cannot light eighteen feet evenly, and a strip of LEDs across the roof can. A wall switch by the door gives three modes, high, low, and an amber nightlight that lets somebody cross the tent at night without waking everyone.
For its size it goes up fast. The poles are pre-attached and the hub system does the work, so CORE rates it at two minutes. That is realistic with two people. One person can manage it, but not quickly.
Weather is the H2O Block system: 68D polyester rated 1200 mm, factory-taped rainfly with attached guylines, sealed seams, no-see-um mesh, and a steel base frame with a fiberglass awning pole. Ground vents feed cool air in and the mesh ceiling lets it out.
Power for the lights is four D batteries or a 5V 1A rechargeable pack. Neither is supplied.

It is a 3-season tent for ordinary rain and wind. At 18 ft it presents a great deal of wall to a gust, so every guyline goes out, every peg goes in, and a sheltered pitch is worth walking to find. It needs a large, level, cleared footprint, which is worth checking before you book a site.
