This is the large lighted model, and the lighting is what separates it from every tent you hang a lantern in. The LEDs run along the ceiling poles and throw even light across the whole 14 ft, switched from the wall by the door. Three modes: high when you are looking for something, low for sitting and talking, and an amber nightlight dim enough to sleep through but bright enough that nobody trips over a bag on the way out at two in the morning.
A room divider splits the floor into two separate spaces. With nine people rated and four plus gear comfortable, that divider is the difference between a family sharing a tent and a family putting up with one. Two doors mean each side has its own exit.
Setup is the instant system with poles pre-attached, rated at two minutes: unfold it, extend four telescoping legs, then peg and guy it out. Headroom is 78 in, so almost everyone stands. Ventilation is ground vents in and mesh ceiling out, with no-see-um mesh against sandflies. Weather is the H2O Block system: 68D polyester rated 1200 mm, factory-taped rainfly, sealed seams.
Power comes from four D batteries or a 5V 1A rechargeable pack. Neither is in the box, so buy batteries with the tent.
