Product description

About this product

Mission Darts ABS – in stock at 361 Degrees Adventure in Tanzania.

Mission’s ABS-1 – a hard-shell case for one set of darts, in a metallic finish.

ABS is the material and it is what the name refers to: a rigid engineering plastic, the same family used for tool cases and instrument cases, chosen because it resists impact without cracking. Mission market it as strong protection, which is a plain enough description of the job.

It holds one set of fully assembled darts – three darts with shafts and flights fitted, so nothing needs stripping down to pack it away. That is the difference between a case you use and a case that lives in a drawer: anything requiring you to unscrew flights after a session will not get used.

Inside there are several additional compartments for spare flights, shafts and small accessories, so it carries a working kit rather than just the set.

Darts and accessories are not included – this is the case alone.

Two notes on naming and specification. Mission’s own product name is the ABS-1 Darts Case, Strong Protection, Metallic – slimline describes it accurately, as a narrow single-set case, but it is not part of Mission’s model name. And Mission do not publish external dimensions or a closure type for it, so we are not quoting either. If the exact size matters for your bag, ask us and we will measure the stock.

Questions

Good to know

How many sets does it hold?

One - three fully assembled darts. Mission make the ABS-4 for four sets if you carry more; ask us what we have. Do not assume this one takes two.

Do I have to take the flights off?

No. It takes the darts fully assembled, shafts and flights fitted. A case that makes you strip darts down after a session is a case that ends up in a drawer.

What are the dimensions?

Mission do not publish external dimensions for the ABS-1 and we will not copy a figure from a marketplace listing. If the size matters for your bag, ask us and we will measure the stock here.

Are darts included?

No, this is the case alone. Spare flights, shafts and accessories are also sold separately - we stock all of them.

Is it really called Slimline?

Not officially. Mission's name for it is the ABS-1 Darts Case, Strong Protection, Metallic. Slimline is a fair description of a narrow single-set case, but it is not a Mission model name.

Why a hard case rather than a wallet?

Because a case in a bag gets sat on and dropped. ABS resists impact without cracking, which is why it is used for tool and instrument cases. A fabric wallet passes the impact straight through to your darts.

Does the climate here affect darts equipment?

Sisal boards mind humidity more than anything else, so hang the board somewhere ventilated and out of driving rain rather than on an exposed veranda. Flights soften and curl if they are left in a hot car. Steel points pick up surface rust in coastal air - wipe them dry after a session and keep them out of a damp bag.

Do you deliver in Dar es Salaam?

Yes. We deliver across Dar es Salaam and send nationwide to Arusha, Moshi, Mwanza, Dodoma, Zanzibar and beyond by courier. Call or WhatsApp us if you need a same-day drop in the city.
