The 50 ml bottle of Muc-Off C3 Wet Weather Ceramic Lube – enough to see one bike through a rainy season, which is really how a wet lube gets used here.
Muc-Off build this one around Boron Nitride, a ceramic compound that is genuinely slippery in its own right, carried in a film designed to stay on the chain while water runs over it. That is the whole job of a wet lube: survive the rinse. It is stickier than a dry lube by necessity, which is also why it picks up more dust and why it belongs in the cupboard from June through October.
The bottle uses a pipette applicator, which makes it much easier to put lube inside the link rather than across the plates and onto the cassette. Muc-Off state the formula is 95% biodegradable and list it for road, cyclocross and mountain biking.
Most riders here end up with both a dry and a wet bottle and simply switch when the weather does.
