A four-person square pop-up with a 160 cm peak, up in sixty seconds on pre-attached poles, and a mesh roof to sleep under.
The Cape 5.2 is the smaller square in Naturehike pop-up range, and the square plan is the reason to choose it over a dome of the same nominal size: the corners are usable floor rather than dead space where the walls curve away. Inside is 241 x 210 cm with a 160 cm peak, enough for a queen mattress with room to move around it.
The poles are pre-attached. Unfold it, push the frame out, and it stands in about sixty seconds, after which it is pegs and guy ropes.
The whole roof is mesh, so with the rainfly off on a dry night you lie and look straight up. Three windows and a mesh door move air through, and Naturehike has fitted SBS zippers rather than unbranded ones, which on a tent that gets opened and closed several times a day is what fails first on cheaper tents. The fabric is 190T polyester with a PU 3000mm+ coating.
Inside there are storage pockets and a gear loft, and a welcome mat comes in the box.
