The body is cold-rolled steel with a stainless steel grill grid and rubber wood handles – wood rather than bare metal, so the box can be moved while it is warm. At 3.9 kg it is solid enough to stand steady on a table without being a weight to carry.
Set up it stands 21 x 21 x 18 cm; packed down it is 21 x 21 x 16 cm, so it takes almost no more space in the vehicle than it does on the table. It suits safari camping, a small terrace, a fishing trip, or the middle of a group of camp chairs on a cold night. It burns ordinary charcoal, and it must be used outdoors with air around it.
