Which repeller does this size fit?

The standard MRM10 mat, 34 x 48 mm. The smaller MRM10 mini at 35 x 22 mm is a different size, so check which your unit takes before ordering.

How long does one mat last?

About six hours of continuous use, which covers an evening. Replace it when the repelling clearly drops off.

Will it work in a breeze?

Less well. A mat repeller works by treating the still air around the unit, so a sea breeze carries that zone away. Place the repeller upwind of where you are sitting, or use it somewhere sheltered.

Is it safe around children and pets?

Keep the mats out of reach and do not let anyone handle a hot one. In use there is no flame and no smoke, but the heating surface is hot and the mats are not something to chew.

Does it replace a mosquito net?

No. For sleeping, a net remains the right protection, and that matters where malaria is present. A repeller is for comfort while you are awake outdoors.

How should I store the pack?

Sealed, cool and dry. Mats left loose in a humid room lose their potency, and Dar humidity is unkind to anything left open.

How many will I use in a season?

At roughly one mat per evening, a 30-pack covers a month of regular use. Most people keep two packs so they never run out mid-trip.
