Everything needed to wash a bike properly, in one tub. Muc-Off put together this kit for riders who would otherwise buy a cleaner, then discover they have nothing to scrub a cassette with.
The eight items are Nano Tech Bike Cleaner, an Expanding Microcell Sponge, a Soft Washing Brush, a Detailing Brush, a Claw Brush, a Two Prong Brush, Bike Spray and the storage tub itself. Between them they cover the three jobs a wash actually involves: shifting grime off the frame without scratching it, getting into the drivetrain where the real dirt is, and leaving a protective film behind so the next wash is easier.
It is not discipline-specific – Muc-Off list it for road, mountain biking, cyclocross and commuting alike. For a Tanzanian rider it is a sensible starting point, because the dust here means you will be washing far more often than a rider in a temperate climate would.
One caution from Muc-Off: do not use the brushes with boiling water or on hot components. Warm water, and let hot parts cool first.
