An S-biner clips onto something at one end and holds something else at the other, which turns any loop, strap or pole into a hanging point. A head torch by the tent door, a wet towel off a guy line, keys on the outside of a pack, a mug on a chair arm. Two grams each, and they solve the problem of everything living at the bottom of a bag.
They are aluminium alloy, so they do not rust in coastal air the way steel hooks do, and they weigh almost nothing.
