About this product
Person Instant Cabin Tent – in stock at 361 Degrees Adventure in Dar es Salaam.
Six-person cabin tent with the poles already attached, standing in about sixty seconds.
There is no pole bag and nothing to thread. The frame is built into the tent: unpack it, unfold it, push the telescoping legs out and the hub system locks the shape. CORE rates it at 60 seconds and that is honest for two people who have done it once. It is the difference between arriving at Mikumi at dusk and setting up camp, or arriving at dusk and arguing in the dark.
Inside is 11 ft x 9 ft of floor with 72 in of headroom down the middle, enough for two queen air beds or six people on mats. The walls are near-vertical, so that floor stays usable to the edges rather than tapering away as it would in a dome.
The weather side is CORE’s H2O Block system: 68D polyester treated to 1200 mm, a factory-taped rainfly and sealed seams. Ground-level vents draw cool air in and the panoramic mesh ceiling lets the heat out, which matters more here than the rain does most of the year. A sealed electrical port takes a power cable, and there is a wall organizer and a gear loft to keep the floor clear.
23 lbs (10.4 kg), packed into a 47 in bag. The bag is long because the frame stays in it, so measure your boot.
