Speed jigging is the aggressive end of vertical fishing. You drop the jig, then work it upward with fast, rhythmic lifts and reel turns, and a predator chases it down. What makes a jig good at it is not the lift but the sideways movement between lifts – a jig that darts wide looks like a fleeing baitfish, and a jig that just goes up and down does not.
Noeby build the 1013N specifically around that. Their own description is a high-pitch darting jig with horizontally wider movement and a fast fall, made for big swells and strong turbulent currents. The fast fall matters as much as the action: in a hard tide a slow-sinking jig is swept off the structure before it ever reaches it.
It is made in eight weights – 100, 120, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400 and 500 g – at lengths from 145 mm to 223 mm, in six luminous colours from NJ020 to NJ025. Noeby publish seven lengths against eight weights and do not state which pairs with which, so we cannot give you a length for a specific weight; ask us and we will measure.
