The T-tail is a flat paddle that hangs below the body. Water pressure makes it beat from side to side, and because the paddle is small and the plastic is soft it starts working at a genuinely slow retrieve speed – which is what you need when you are trying to tempt a reluctant fish rather than trigger an aggressive one.
White and orange is a high-contrast pairing: the white gives a baitfish flash and the orange gives a visible point of reference in stained water and low light.
